I am based in the UK in a small village in Hampshire.

I work for a local IT company. My official title is UNIX Specialist, but as I have only been in this department for a few months it's probably a bit early to call me a specialist, especially as my last 20 years in the company have been spent working on mainframes. What's a UNIX you ask, it's a small rodent akin to a muskrat; while mainframes (pronounced mar-infra-mez) are small budgerigars.

I am divorced and have two children, girls in their early 20s. Alice is a Mathematics graduate, her younger sister, Sarah, is a Debt Control Analyst.
